I bought a 2 x 3 rug in this pattern for a front hall mat. The photo appears to be a gray-green color, which is how I interpret "sage", but the pattern on the rug itself is in shades of brown and gold. I found other reviews suggesting this as well so I don't think it is a case of receiving the wrong item. The rug in the listing photo must also be larger than 2 x 3, because the rug I received has only one full diamond in the center, with partial diamonds surrounding it. (Imagine the bottom 1/3 or so of the picture, with full border of course.)Bottom line: I intend to keep the rug because it looks good enough for our purposes, but I am disappointed that it is so different in color from what seems to be pictured here.Update: I added a photo of our own rug, taken under natural light. Under artificial light, the lighter brown parts look gold.
